Low and Negligible Risk Research Applications

Where an LNR has been ethically approved prior to 1 September 2017, the SSA can still be generated on the On-Line Forms site from that LNR.

Any applications submitted for HREC approval after 1 September 2017 must be completed on the HREA form and the HREC will consider whether it should be reviewed as Low and Negligible Risk or as a full HREA application.

You cannot use an LNR previously approved in NSW to create an SSA to conduct research in any other state.
