Yaralla Festival - great day out for all!

Blue skies and great tunes made the Sydney Local Health District Yaralla Festival 2017 a day to remember.

Around 3000 people attended the free community event on Sunday 10 September in the beautiful Yaralla Estate.

This year’s event saw the return of family favourite activities - including the dog show, activity passport, jumping castles and face painting.

Congratulations to all the entrants of the dog competition and the winners of best dressed, cutest dog and best trick. It was tough competition this year!

There were reptiles and Devonshire tea, an art exhibition from the Royal Art Society and historical tours.

The Scouts helped out with a fantastic BBQ and we had lots of tasty treats from Pull n Shots, the Fernside Youth Food Truck, the Dumpling Kings and other food stalls.

Our stall holders shared handmade candles, wood turned masterpieces, build your own jewellery and natural skin care.

And then entertainment from former members of the Cockroaches and the Army Band.

The Yaralla Estate Advisory Committee of local residents and key stakeholders meets regularly. If you have an idea or would like more information about the estate, contact: Yaralla.EstateCommittee@sswahs.nsw.gov.au.
