Support

Apart from providing a comprehensive training program, the training team staff are committed to the welfare and well-being of trainees. We acknowledge that Basic Physician Training and the Examinations can be a stressful time for many trainees and we pride ourselves on providing support during this demanding process.

We also recognise that training program and clinical examination costs can be a significant financial burden on trainees. With the generous support of the RPA Division of Medicine, we are pleased to be able to offer our trainees with on- and off-site access to online training resources such as UpToDate and the BMJ On Examination. We also provide a $1000 scholarship per trainee contract to be used to fund the purchase of educational resources such as textbooks etc. or to help cover the costs of training courses such as the Written exam revision courses. Finally, we will also cover the purchase cost of a portable USB modem for all trainees to ensure that they have internet access for study purposes on rural secondment or wherever they are.
