RPA Car Park

Sydney Local Health District is constructing a new car park on the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital campus.

The staff car park is to be located on the corner of Church and Lucas Streets Camperdown, adjacent the Queen Mary and Professor Marie Bashir Centre buildings on the RPA campus.

The car park is funded by the NSW State Government and Sydney Local Health District and is being delivered by NSW Health Infrastructure.

The nine-storey car park will provide much needed parking spots for hospital staff and will include CCTV, lighting and emergency call points for security and staff safety. Access to the staff car park will be on Brodie St (Hospital Rd) via Carillon Ave.

Construction is now well under way with the erection of the tower crane and major concrete pours for the ground slabs completed in July 2017 and the first suspended decks poured in August. Forecast completion of the project is late February 2018.

The first stage of construction will require the demolition of three existing buildings on the site and is expected to commence in mid-November 2016. The construction progress will be updated on this site.

We understand this may cause disruption however we greatly appreciate your undersstaning while we construct this very important staff car park.
