Birthing Unit

The Birthing Unit comprises of five Birth Unit rooms and an assessment room, with en-suites or bathrooms. Four of the en-suites have deep baths that can be useful in labour.

All birthing rooms have small courtyards allowing you and your support people to be in an outside environment if you wish. Midwives are experienced and supportive, providing suggestions and guidance through the labour.

We aim to support you in making informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond. The unit provides a culturally sensitive service which respects and acknowledges the needs and diversity of the women and families.
