Volunteer with the Friends of Concord

The Friends of Concord are our wonderful volunteers who give their time selflessly to Concord Hospital.

They're an important part of the Concord family, and make significant contributions to patient's positive experiences at every stage of care.

Our volunteers benefit too:

• build connections for positive mental wellbeing
• meet interesting people
• attend an annual luncheon and awards presentation

Volunteering activities

As a Friend of Concord you could help with activities in both patient and non-patient areas such as:

• escort patients between care locations
• support on wards
• read to patients
• provide music therapy
• help in the Gift Shop
• run a raffle
• coordinate weekly market
• help at Concord Hospital's annual fundraiser

Become a Friend of Concord

All Friends of Concord complete an application form, an interview, a national police check and an orientation.
