Medical Staff

There are multiple Emergency Physicians who are Fellows of The Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM), working in the department. Some are full-time, whilst others also provide their services to other Sydney hospitals or for the State-wide Retrieval Service.

There are also multiple Registrars working within the Emergency at any given stage, with a number of additional registrars on various external rotations. Many of the registrars are trainees of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.

The ACEM has accredited Concord Emergency Department for 12 months of Advanced Training in Emergency Medicine.

These senior medical officers work in conjunction with junior medical staff. These doctors are in their first, second or third postgraduate year. The term in the Emergency department is one of their rotations through Sydney Local Health District.
