Safety and Security
The security and safety of visitors to the Rivendell Flower Show is paramount and we have security presence at the Show. We work closely with emergency services to ensure an appropriate safety plan is in place.

Travel by Bus
Bus Routes M41, 458 and 460 are available on Hospital. Additional services are available nearby. Route 460 is an infrequent service.

Travel By Train
Trains run to and from Concord West, Strathfield and Rhodes Station at various times.
Rhodes Station (T1 services) is located on Blaxland Road, a 15+ minute walk from Thomas Walker Estate, Rivendell or available on bus routes M41 and 458.
Concord West Station (T1 services) is located on Queen Street, a 20+ minute walk from the hospital.
Strathfield Station (T1 and T2 services) is located approximately 4km
Burwood Station (T1 and T2 services, a major transport hub, is approximately 4.5km from Thomas Walker Estate, Rivendell and can be accessed on bus routes M41 and 458. All of these stations are wheelchair accessible.
Bicycle racks will be available at the venue.

Accessible parking is available in the nearby Concord Hospital, Hospital Road Car Park.
For those with mobility problems, a shuttle bus service will be provided at the main entrance to the Thomas Walker Estate, Rivendell.
Food & Drink
There is a range of catering options at the Rivendell Flower Show. There is the option of the exclusive High Tea in the fountain courtyard (bookings required) and other food stalls in the Marketplace (see vendors on What to Expect page). There will be selections of hot and cold food and drink outlets across the venue. Visitors are also welcome to bring picnics.
Bookings for 2018 will be opening soon and are strictly limited. Please keep in mind that these add ons do not include ticket price.
We believe that disabled visitors should have the same opportunity to enjoy our show and gardens as other visitors and is committed to making your visit as problem-free as possible.
We aim to meet your needs and expectations wherever we can and to ensure that you experience of the show is enjoyable and comfortable.
Please note, however, that this is an outdoor show with temporary facilities, and so ground conditions are not always ideal.
All catering facilities are fully accessible.
Exhibits and gardens
All marquees, gardens and floral exhibits are accessible and can be viewed from ground level. None of the gardens are designed for public access. All marquees and some floral exhibits can be walked through. Where possible, gardens are fronted by hard-surface pavement, road or trackway. The areas around the gardens are often busy, so disabled visitors may wish to consider arriving early or late in the day to avoid peak times.
Assistance dogs are welcomed in all areas.
Attendants cannot be provided but one companion is admitted free of charge per visitor whose disability necessitates assistance. Please mention this at the time of booking as discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. Proof of eligibility is required and all tickets are subject to availability.
Parking is available in the Concord Hospital carpark free of charge.
Toilets for disabled visitors are available at the Show. All toilets for disabled visitors are unisex.

This is a temporary, outdoor event on open parkland and is subject to varying weather and ground conditions. Much of the event is staged on open ground and care must be taken. We, therefore advise that you check the weather forecast for the day of your visit, consider the nature of the event and the effects of any inclement weather on surface conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. In extreme weather conditions, access may be restricted in the interest of safety.
Lost property is located on the front lawn near the walkway towards the Boathouse.
Unclaimed items are kept for 1 month before being donated.
ATMs and bank facilities
ATMs facilities are not available at the show. There is an ATM in the foyer at Concord Hospital.
We encourage guests to bring their own picnics. There will be seating areas at the Show.
Music and Entertainment
There will be assorted entertainment across the venue throughout the Show and performances in the Kid's Space on the stage.
