Heaps Mad EOI for Performers

Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services is partnering with Inner West Council to stage Heaps Mad, an awesome open mic afternoon on Thursday 26 October from 2pm to 7pm.

We’re asking folk from the Inner West to come along to the Marrickville Pavilion and put on a 5-10 minute performance. It can be everything from poetry to opera, interpretive dance to rock!

It’s an opportunity to reflect on mental health and well-being, the lived experience of mental illness, and the importance of good mental health in our everyday lives.

We’re encouraging the involvement of whole of community and welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples, culturally and linguistic diverse communities, the LGBTQ community, older persons, people with disability and young people.
