Living Well Photography Competition 2018
In celebration of Mental Health Week, Sydney Local Health District is running a Photography Competition. The competition is open to all mental health carers, consumers, inpatients and anybody with a lived experience of mental illness residing in the state of NSW and Sydney Local Health District staff.
Theme ‘My Favourite Place’
We are seeking photographs that portray a special environment or place that has special significance to you. It could be a place you visit from time to time, a place that refreshes you or a place you went to once that inspired you. It could be domestic or international. Tell us about your special place by submitting a photograph with a title and description (maximum 100 words) that captures your idea.
A selection of the best photographs will be displayed in the foyer of the Professor Marie Bashir Centre from Monday the 8th October 2018 till Sunday 21st October 2018.
There will be first, second and third prize winner awards, a staff award, a technical award and a youth award. There will be honourable mentions along with certificates for the works of merit too. Participant age for the youth award must not be more than 15 years. Only Sydney Local Health District staff will be eligible to compete for the staff award and no other awards. The technical award will be open for all participants.
Closing date for submissions is midnight Sunday 30th September 2018. Entrants can submit up to 3 photographs. Please read terms and conditions for further details. Entry is free.
