Photography at Yaralla Estate

Yaralla Estate, managed by Sydney Local Health District, offers many spectacular sites set amongst tranquil settings that are perfect for photography and wedding location shoots.

To make a booking please apply via our online booking system

To ensure the privacy and best treatment of our patients, we do not permit photography close to the onsite residences, particularly Yaralla House, Woodbine Cottage, Hyacinth Cottage and Kalparin Cottage.

There are many beautiful locations on the grounds of the Estate where we recommend wedding photography be taken, including:

  • Rose Garden.
  • Fields.
  • Italianate Balustrade.
  • Sunken Garden.

Our Booking Policy:

The Estate is used as a residence for some of our most vulnerable patients, we therefore ask that the community respects our booking policy.

Should you wish to arrange a photography session within the Estate you must submit an online booking via the above mentioned site at least four weeks prior to the proposed date to enable the necessary arrangements to be made.

Booking and payment confirmation will be confirmed via a tax invoice issued by email.

Please note, as Yaralla Estate is primarily a healthcare facility, there is a maximum of 16 people per booking and one booking per person. In addition, guests must leave the premises by 5:30 pm except during daylight saving time, where guests are permitted to remain on the premises until 6:30 pm. This ensures there is minimal disruption to residents of the Estate.

Wedding photography requires a fee of $160.00 (GST incl.), payable to the Sydney Local Health District. All funds raised are used for the general maintenance of the Estate grounds and supervision on the day.

Please note that all booking cancellations incur a 20% charge ($32.00) on the wedding photography booking fee.

Once we receive your booking information and payment, Concord Security, relevant services and residents of the Estate will be notified of your photography booking.

Appropriate supervision of photographic sessions will be arranged on the day of your booking to ensure photographs are not taken of patients or impact on the privacy or wellbeing of residents. It is expected that the wedding party will comply with the directions of the ranger and conduct themselves in a reasonable manner.
