Continence

Incontinence is a common health problem that affects over 2 million Australians of all ages and backgrounds.

If someone is having problems with controlling their bladder, such as urgency then they may benefit from medical help. The National Continence Helpline (1800 330 066) is a free and confidential telephone service which:
  •  provides information on bladder and bowel problems;
  •  can refer you to local sources of help;
  •  provides personal advice and counselling about how to manage bladder and bowel problems.
Carers Australia  provides useful information and advice on how to care for someone with incontinence.
