Carers Week
Let’s celebrate Carers Week!
Carers Week is an opportunity to:
- Say thank you to our 53 000 District carers who for the contribution you make each and every day to support the health and wellbeing of our community
- Recognise the 12% of District staff who balance their carer responsibilities with their work in the District
- Acknowledge the additional challenges carers face during COVID-19
You’re a carer if you provide care and support to a family member, partner or friend with:
- a disability
- a mental illness
- an alcohol or drug dependency
