Anyone, anytime, anywhere
Carers may take on their role gradually or suddenly. For example, as a person becomes older and frailer the caring responsibilities of the family member or friend (the Carer) are likely to increase over time. If a person is permanently disabled in a sporting or car accident, the family member or friend may need to take on caring responsibilities with little or no warning at all.
