Mandatory Education


NSW legislation, NSW Health policy directives and LHD policies set out the mandatory (compulsory) education for staff. Mandatory training in SLHD is delivered according to the clinical and corporate mandatory training policy (SLHD_PD2013_047).

Mandatory training is grouped into 'once only courses', 'annual courses' and 'biannual (every two years) courses'.

Please discuss what training is considered mandatory with your manager.

Many facilities provide mandatory training sessions, select your facility for details. If your facility is not represented below please see the LMS for more information:
