To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the hospital’s calendar of events is on hold as we work to protect our patients, our community and our staff.

Calendar of Events

The hospital plays host to a number of community, commemorative and fundraising events throughout the year. The dates and events listed are specific for the hospital calendar.

Upcoming fundraising events

Concord Hospital holds a number of fundraising events throughout the year to help raise funds for a particular ward, unit or department. These are special events which individuals, families or community groups participate in, with the aim of raising funds for Concord Hospital. We encourage you to support these events or even consider organising one of your own.

Weekly Thursday Markets

The Market Day on the Green is located at Concord Hospital each Thursday from 9am to 3pm (excluding the Christmas / New Year period). Funds raised goes towards the purchase of equipment. The markets predominantly cater to hospital staff, local businesses and members of the local community. We pride ourselves on the quality stallholders we have on our market and welcome enquiries from stallholders looking to display their products in a friendly environment. Stalls are located on the hospital "Green" where one can purchase unique creations and also indulge their taste buds with a multitude of culinary delights.

Application process

Any person who wishes to be considered for a stall site at the Market Day on the Green must first complete a Stallholder Application Form.

What is the cost for a stall?

Cost per stall space is $50

How big is an allocated space?

Allocated space is 3m x 3m

Do I need to pay extra if I need more than one allocated space?

Yes. If you occupy more than one allocated space ie. 3m x 3m you will be charged the fee for 2 stalls ie. $100

What if I need power for my stall?

Stall holders requiring power will be charged a $50 fee. Request for power will need to be made at the time of application.

Will the market be held if it rains?

Market day will proceed:
Unless the forecast predicts inclement weather for the day, or there has been constant heavy rain the day prior, rendering the "Green" unsafe;
If stallholders are unsure if market day will be held, it is recommended that you contact the Marketing and Community Relations Department on 9767 7560 or 9767 6038 for confirmation.

If my application is approved and I sign an agreement, does this mean my position is permanent?

No. As outlined in the Agreement, your position as a stallholder may be terminated if there has been a breach of guidelines or health standards. If you fail to show for 2 consecutive weeks and have not informed the Management that you will be away ahead of time, your position as a stallholder will be terminated. Absence without notice will result in full rental and hire fees being charged.

When do I pay my fees?

Fees must be paid on the market day to the Market Manager or the selected representative.

Do I need to provide my own tables?

Yes. The provision of display tables and/or chairs is the sole responsibility of the stall holder.
Please note all the above are outlined in the Stallholder Service Agreement.
