Counselling services, including psychologists and social workers, work with children and their families to provide treatment when children have difficulty with emotions, social functioning or behaviour.
These services also offer parenting courses and groups for children with anxiety.

Our services are provided in Community Health Centres at Camperdown, Canterbury, Croydon, and Marrickville.
Some groups may be offered in other locations.

When you arrive at the Community Health Centre, you will be greeted by the receptionist. This person will let your psychologist or social worker know that you have arrived.
During your appointment your psychologist or social worker will talk to you about the concerns you have for your child. You will also be asked about your child's development.
Your psychologist or social worker might ask you, and maybe your child’s teacher, to fill out a questionnaire or survey.
You will meet your child’s psychologist or social worker.
