Growth and development

Healthy development is very important. Babies and young children grow and develop quickly but everyone is different and some things will happen slower or faster for some children.

We're busy putting together some factsheets for you about each stage of development: 0-4 months, 4-8 months, 8-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, 3-4 years and 5-6 years.

If you think your child isn’t reaching the developmental milestones for their age you can discuss with your local doctor or contact our Child Health Information Link and talk with one of our friendly health professionals on 9562 5400.
