All of our interpreters are accredited or recognised by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). In addition, our interpreters have attended training on medical terminology and other professional and in-service courses to ensure that they are skilled to work within the health care sector.
Sydney HCIS can provide health care interpreters in most community languages, including AUSLAN for people who are deaf.
Sydney HCIS has staff interpreters employed to interpret in 24 languages: Arabic, Cantonese, Croatian, Greek, Hakka, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Macedonian, Malay, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Sichuan, Spanish, Thai, Tongan, Turkish, Ukranian and Vietnamese.
