Palliative Care

Our Research

Concord palliative care service is committed to providing best practice evidence based care. This includes offering patients and families the opportunity to participate in research designed to improve care. Being part of national and international research assists us to create a dynamic service which best meets the needs of our patients.

Key Achievements

Research in our service is primarily undertaken by clinicians from many disciplines. In the past year our active participation in national and  international investigator driven research has allowed us to build our team to include a research nurse and develop our own program of translational research to improve outcomes for patients requiring palliative care.
