The Health Education Training Institute (HETI) provides overall governance of VET Qualifications and delivers courses through its service delivery partners: Local Health Districts and Speciality Networks. The RTO Executive office at HETI supports Local Health District and Speciality Networks delivery partners across NSW Health using collaborative model of governance.
Through its delivery sites the RTO delivers nationally recognised qualifications across a broad range of industry sectors including health services, business services, community services and training and assessment. All VET programs are conducted by qualified professionals to maximise learning outcomes and enhance workforce performance for students. As an enterprise RTO NSW Health RTO delivery partners deliver training to their staff. In some instances they will also provide training for other Local Health Districts or Specialty Networks. They may provide some training to Non-NSW Health employees where it can be demonstrated that this will benefit the health workforce and address skill shortages.
The RTO also offers training under the NSW Government's Smart and Skilled Program, NSW Health Traineeships, Nursing and Midwifery Office Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) Scholarships and the Department of Education's VET in Schools programs. Training programs are published annually in calendars at each delivery site and distributed to NSW Health employees and other prospective participants.

All NSW Health RTO students need to have Unique Student Identifier (USI) prior to commencing their course. If you do not already have a USI you can get one by going to https://www.usi.gov.au/
