Sydney Local Health District is drafting a new Strategic Plan for 2018-2022. This Strategic Plan is being developed with our patients, families, friends and community to ensure we deliver health and healthcare services that meet your needs.
Sydney Local Health District is located in the centre and inner west of Sydney providing healthcare to a population of about 700,000 people living across the six Local Government Areas of Burwood, Canada Bay, Strathfield, Inner West and parts of Canterbury – Bankstown and City of Sydney. We are home to Royal Prince Alfred, Concord, Balmain, Canterbury and Sydney Dental Hospitals and provide services and support to a large number of people living and working outside of the District. We deliver healthcare in our community through our integrated community health, mental health, aged and chronic care, drug health and oral health services. Last year we opened our doors to 156,000 emergency patients, delivered 6,600 babies and performed 41,000 operations. With over 11,000 staff, we proudly host many world-leading clinicians, researchers and research institutes, striving for innovation and to implement best practice to shape the way modern health services are delivered for our patients.
The feedback you provide in this anonymous survey will help to inform our health services to meet the ongoing needs of our community.
