The Yaralla Festival returns next month for a fun-filled day out for the whole family.

The Festival, staged on the historic Yaralla Estate at Concord West, is held as part of Sydney Local Health District's vision to promote health and wellbeing to the local community.

Now in its 6th year, it’ll be jam-packed with family-friendly activities and entertainment. Entry is free and there’s free parking onsite.

There’ll be a reptile display for the kids, plus face-painting, balloon twisting, a LEGO-building workshop, a children’s play space and a jumping castle with slides.

Children will be able to join a cricket, AFL or soccer clinic and find new ways to eat healthier and stay active every day.

And, there’ll be an Activity Passport with great prizes up for grabs.

Julie McCrossin AM will host the much-loved annual dog show with more tricks, tips and competitions for best dressed, best trick and cutest dog.

The exciting entertainment line-up will include talented local musicians, bands and dancers.

The District’s health promotion teams will be on deck to share information about the best ways to take care of your family.

And the Canada Bay Heritage Society will host tours of the late 19th century buildings, including the stables, squash court and dairy.

Adding to the vibrant community atmosphere will be a selection of bustling market stalls and food trucks serving up Festival favourites.

The 1st Yaralla Sea Scouts will also be offering a delicious Devonshire Tea.

The Yaralla Estate, also known as Dame Eadith Walker Estate, is 37 hectares of land on the banks of the Parramatta River at Concord West.

The Estate was owned by the prominent mercantile and philanthropic Walker family in the early 20th century. Sydney Local Health District now maintains the estate in accordance with the wishes of the Walker Trust.

Bring your family to enjoy all the fun at this year’s festival. We’d love to see you there.
