Experience the ICT Lounge
Explore the world of mixed reality and much more in the new ICT Lounge
Microsoft is bringing the world of mixed reality to this year’s Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium.
Visitors to the new ICT Lounge will get the chance to experience the HoloLens and hear Microsoft's Asia Pacific HoloLens lead, Lawrence Crumpton, talk about how mixed reality is helping clinicians in their work.
It’s all part of the broader focus on experience at this year’s Innovation Week, which runs from 24 to 30 June, 2019.
In addition to the HoloLens, the ICT Lounge has an exciting line-up of things to see and do – not to mention eat and drink. (Did someone say freshly baked cookies, still warm from the oven?)
Graphic facilitator Rebecca Lazenby will be centre stage to capture your ideas and feedback and turn it into words and images in real time.
And Sydney Local Health District’s commercial partners Cerner, Microsoft, eHealth and Perx will showcase how their technologies are helping to shape current and future healthcare.
Microsoft's Dr Nic Woods is the keynote speaker at this year's Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium. He will be talking about how these new technologies are already being used to help solve some of our toughest health challenges, and how they could be deployed in future.
