Come along to RPA for tours, talks, exhibitions, market stalls, performances and health information
RPA is hosting a hospital open day on Monday, November 5.
We are inviting our patients, their carers, family and friends and the community to come to RPA to get an insight into the outstanding work that takes place here every day.
In particular, we are targeting sections of the culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) population, who we know can experience challenges navigating health services.
We are also encouraging selected local schools to come along to demonstrate the variety of careers and trades available in the public health system.
The open day is being held in conjunction with Chris O’Brien Lifehouse’s 5 year anniversary.
Celebrations will take place across the Camperdown campus, including live performances, walking tours, health promotion, market and food stalls.
The RPA Museum will be open and talks given detailing some of the hospital’s fascinating history.
The open day runs from 11am to 3pm. A schedule of performances, tours and activities will be published closer to the date. For more information, see slhd.nsw.gov.au/SydneyConnect or check out our Facebook page www.facebook.com/SLHDCommunityEvents
