About Us

The Department of Urology at Concord Hospital provides a wide range of in-patient and out-patient services.

Urologists are surgical specialists who provide assessment and treatment of diseases involving the urinary system. These include the management of benign prostatic hypertrophy, urinary incontinence, male and female sexual dysfunction, stone disease, urethral strictures and pelvic organ prolapse. The Unit also has expertise in the use of ultrasound in diagnosis and management, and is involved in management of all urological malignancies, including prostate, bladder, kidney and testis cancer. 

Aligned with these services is an ongoing commitment to provide a high quality consulting service for other departments within the hospital for the management of urological problems. There is a further commitment of the Department to urological research and teaching, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
