Sydney Local Health District's Policy Documents

Policy documents are those that guide our decisions, actions and procedures in fulfilling our public functions.

Sydney Local Health District is a statutory health corporation under the Health Services Act 1997 that is guided by the following policy documents:

  • NSW Ministry of Health Policies; and
  • Sydney Local Health District policies.

NSW Ministry of Health policies can be accessed through the following site: http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/policies/pages/default.aspx

Sydney Local Health District only develops local policies where no equivalent NSW Health Policy Directive exists. SLHD Policies are developed primarily as District-level policies, with stand-alone Facility or Service level documents developed by exception only.
