The Department of Neurosurgery at RPA

We provide a full range of neurosurgical services for brain, spine and peripheral nervous system. We provide general and trauma neurosurgery. We have particular expertise in cerebrovascular surgery, spine surgery, CSF circulation surgery, epilepsy surgery, acoustic neuroma and transsphenoidal pituitary surgery.

Our procedural capacity includes intraoperative MRI, intraoperative stereotaxic navigation, minimally invasive surgical EEG monitoring, and access to hybrid operating room.

RPA Neurosurgery is part of the Neurosciences clinical group which brings together a number of disciplines: Neurology, Neurosurgery, Ear, Nose and Throat, Ophthalmology and Pain.

We also enjoys close liaison with other surgical departments, Anaesthetics, Radiology, Neuropathology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Rehabilitation Medicine. Complex conditions are managed in a collaborative fashion through multidisciplinary team meetings.
