Amendments and Reports1. AMENDING AN APPROVED PROTOCOL If an approved study requires amendment, including the addition of extra study personnel, the senior investigator must notify the AWC and obtain its approval prior to the implementation of the amendment. The following forms should be used when applying for amendments: 2. ANNUAL & BI-ANNUAL (Breeding Protocols) REPORTING TO THE AWC It is a requirement that reports on the progress of all approved studies must be submitted to the AWC at least annually or in the case of breeding protocol, bi-annually. A final report must be submitted when the study has been completed and the results known. Please note that the Committee does not consider a study complete until the data is analysed and a report of the results written and placed in the public domain. Reminder letters and standard report forms will be forwarded to the senior investigator approximately two weeks before each report is due.
