About Us
The Department of Immunology at Concord Hospital provides care for patients with a range of immunological conditions including autoimmune disease, immunodeficiency, management of immunosuppression, neuroimmunology, HIV, allergy and anaphylaxis.
The department is located on Level 6 West of the Main Building of Concord Hospital, providing inpatient and ambulatory services. The department also operates day-stay services for immunoglobulin replacement therapy and immunosuppressive chemotherapy.
The Department of Immunology works collaboratively with the Departments of Rheumatology, Neurology, ENT and Infectious Diseases at Concord Hospital, and also with Immunology services at RPA, Liverpool Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital. Immunodiagnostic services are provided by the Immunology Laboratory at Royal Prince Alfred.
The department provides education services to medical staff at the hospital as well as community medical practitioners and allied health professionals. Concord Hospital has been an accredited site for registrar advanced Immunology training for over a decade.
