About Us
The Speech Pathology department at Concord is dedicated to providing efficient high quality assessment, management and education to adults and their families, for swallowing and communication disorders. These may include:
- Swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
- Language or communication difficulties - including listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Speech difficulties - including slurred speech
- Changes to voice - including vocal nodules
Our department provides a 7 day a week service for patients admitted to Concord.
We are committed to ongoing education, quality and research activities.
