Welcome to the Concord Hospital Research Office website.
The Research Office supports the work of the Sydney Local Health District Human Research Ethics Committee – Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
There are two offices serving the research community of the SLHD, located at Concord and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals.Both offices are accredited and certified by the NHMRC and the NSW Ministry of Health to approve studies under the mutual acceptance scheme and provide ethical clearance for multi-centre studies.
The Research Office also plays a role in supporting the Concord Hospital Research Committee and administering the CRGH Research Travelling Scholarship scheme.
All research involving humans should conform to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007) updated 2018 and the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (2007) updated 2018. The office also provides guidance and assistance to researchers wishing to undertake projects.
