From 1 January 2019, the CRGH Research Office has transitioned to the new Research Ethics Governance Information System (REGIS) for the management of ethics and site specific assessment applications. Application refers to Human Research Ethics Application (HREA) and Site Specific Assessment (SSA) application. The office will receive all new applications for ALL study types through REGIS. This applies to both single-site and multi-site research.

Please note:

1. Applications entered through the Online Forms site ( will be accepted by the CRGH Research Office up until 31 December 2018.

2. For applications already submitted and/or approved using the Online Forms site, all related NSW Health site SSA's need to be generated through the Online Forms portal until further notice. All finalised studies will be migrated from Online Forms to REGIS from 1 March 2019, after which time all projects will be administered through REGIS.

Researchers are encouraged to set-up an account in REGIS as soon as possible and should refer to the REGIS Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) for instructions on how to create an application in the system.

Over the next few weeks the research office website will be updated with relevant information to better assist researchers during the transition period to ensure no unnecessary delays are experienced.
