Teaching at RPA Dermatology

RPA dermatology provides teaching to medical students of the University of Sydney's Central Clinical School. Each year approximately 120 students from both early and later years of the medical curriculum rotate through our department for in-clinic and tutorial teaching. The Department has four Australasian College of Dermatologists accredited training positions for specialist trainees (registrars), and we also teach and mentor junior doctors at the intern and resident medical officer level. The Department supervises University of Sydney Master of Philosophy and PhD students. Professor Damian has been primary supervisor to 15 postgraduate research students, most of whom are now practising as dermatologists or completing dermatology Fellowship training.
