Palliative Care: Examining Our Roles and Reach

This Symposium is aimed broadly at the NSW Palliative Care Workforce and in particular, those with responsibility for implementing aspects of the NSW Palliative Care Strategic Framework 2010 – 2013.  The day will critically examine how services can maximise their reach through innovative programs and partnership tools. Participants will have opportunities to contribute examples from their own settings.

Aims:
 
  • to examine components of specialist palliative care services across NSW
 
  • to explore ways of improving access to and coordination of palliative care services
 
  • to highlight partnership tools and innovative approaches to accessing palliative care
