Implementing the NSW Palliative Care Strategic Framework 2010 - 2013 - Projects, Plans and Possibilities

This Symposium is aimed broadly at the NSW Palliative Care Workforce and in particular, those with responsibility for implementing aspects of the Palliative Care Strategic Framework 2010 – 2013. Perspectives from across NSW will be shared with an emphasis on the transfer of ideas. The day will also include a World Conference session –a structured process for hosting evolving rounds of dialogue among participants. Discover new insights into the questions or issues that are most important to your palliative care program. Participation in the full day is required.

• to increase awareness of innovative polices, programs and services in NSW that align with the five priority areas within the NSW Palliative Care Strategic Framework 2010 - 2013

• to explore the impacts of settings (rural, regional, remote and metropolitan) on program design and models of care

• to encourage critical reflection and the transfer of ideas
