Our History

Brainstorm was created by Dr Brindha Shivalingham, one of Australia's leading neurosurgeons based at RPA and Associate Professor Michael Buckland, Head of RPA's Department of Neuropathology.

Brainstorm is different to other charities. It is focused on building local capacity in one of Australia's premier clinical research hubs within the RPA and University of Sydney Campuses.

Brainstorm has minimal administrative and promotional overheads. Donations will be used for advancing brain tumour research and treatment.
