IVF Initiative and Rebates

The RPA Fertility Unit is participating in the NSW Health Initiative to improve affordability and access to IVF services across NSW.

As part of this initiative, the costs of IVF stimulation have been reduced for NSW residents. This will be effective for all stimulated cycles commencing from 1st January 2020.

The Fertility Unit will continue to offer fertility preservation of one treatment cycle to patients prior to gonadotoxic therapy for no out-of-pocket costs excluding the cost of PBS medications.

The Fertility Unit will continue to offer fertility treatments to patients of Aboriginal or Torres Straight Island background for no out-of-pocket costs excluding the cost of PBS medications. Please note that fees apply for ongoing storage of eggs, sperm or embryos.
