COVID-19 UPDATE
Attention: Update 04.12.2020
Sydney Local Health District is taking steps to protect our staff, our patients and our community against any potential transmission of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
The RPA Fertility Unit is making some changes to our services to ensure you, your family and our staff stay as safe as possible at this time.
We recognise this is a difficult time for many in our community, and we are working hard to ensure our patients continue to receive high quality healthcare while also reducing the potential transmission of COVID-19.
In order to protect yourself, other patients, healthcare workers and members of the community, we ask that any patients who have:
- flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath)
- have travelled overseas or
- have visited a confirmed COVID-19 case locations, or
- who have been in contact with a known COVID-19 case,
postpone their appointment, self-isolate and get tested for COVID-19.
You will be screened on entrance to the hospital and asked to wear a facemask while within the hospital.
For the latest COVID-19 news and updates, please visit the NSW Health website.
We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and patience to date. We appreciate it may continue to be a challenge for a period of time as we reopen and will do our best to limit the impact of those challenges. Please do not hesitate to speak to the staff if you have any concerns.
What to do now:
Call the unit on 9515 8824 to discuss when you may be able to start treatment;
