Pre IVF Investigations Rebate for NSW Residents

As public patients, most of your investigations for infertility and prior to IVF will incur no out-of-pocket costs to you. However, there are some specialised investigations which may be required and will incur an out-of-pocket cost.

As part of the Improved Affordability and Access to IVF Services Initiative, the NSW Government is providing a rebate of $250 for out-of-pocket expenses related to pre-IVF fertility testing. If you are a current resident of NSW you are eligible for the rebate once a specialist confirms you have a fertility issue and have incurred out-of-pocket costs related one or more of the following examinations:

• AMH
  
  
• Pelvic ultrasound
  
  
• Ovulation test
  
  
• Semen analysis

How to Claim Your Rebate

Apply for the Pre-IVF Fertility Testing Rebate | Service NSW

After you have completed and paid for an eligible examination, please upload the receipt and the form onto your MyServiceNSW Account.

The rebate can cover both male and female investigations but only women can lodge an application. This ensures only one applicant from the partnership seeking to have a child can claim the rebate.
