Education Providers

This section provides information to assist education providers who wish to request student placements within Sydney Local Health District facilities.

Education Providers should not have discussions with individual clinicians seeking to enter individual arrangements to accommodate placement requests or attempt to initiate a new student placement agreement. Additionally, the SLHD Clinical Placement Unit cannot initiate entering into a new student placement agreement OR add a new discipline or course, to an existing student placement agreement, without the approval of local clinicians or the Discipline Director. All requests for new student placement agreements or to add courses or degrees to an existing agreement, must be submitted to the SLHD Clinical Placement Unit in the first instance.
