This section provides students with information about the requirements to attend a clinical placement within a NSW publically owned Health facility.

You must have your documentation verified by your partner health district no later than 7-days prior to the start of your placement. Your placement will be cancelled automatically by ClinConnect if you have not done this.

The SLHD Clinical Placement Unit (CPU) can assist students to prevent cancellation of their clinical placement from occurring.

If you need to communicate with the CPU to discuss any verification issues or simply to ask us a question please ensure that you clearly identify yourself so we can best assist you by providing the following information:

  • SLHD compliance summary sheet
  • Student ID
  • Full name
  • Discipline e.g. Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing etc.
  • Overview of your question
