Facilitators

To assist Education Providers to have their clinical facilitators screened as per NSW Health policy directives the following information is provided to assist the facilitator to present the correct documentation for verification purposes.

This information applies to education provider employed facilitators (i.e. not SLHD student supervisors) whether they are directly employed by the education provider or employed through an agency on behalf of an education provider.

A clinical facilitator that holds substantive employment with NSW Health and subsequently or concurrently works as a clinical facilitator will be considered an external employee of NSW Health and consequently will be required to be verified as if they were a new employee. This is to ensure all verification requirements are up to date.
