Clinical Trials/Scientific Review

Scientific Sub-Committee (ScSC) of the Sydney Local Health District – Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) – CRGH Zone

1. Protocols for clinical trials of new drugs, new indications/routes of administration of approved drugs and therapeutic devices must be submitted to the Scientific Sub-Committee (ScSC) in the first instance.  Following review of the protocol by the ScSC, the application will then be forwarded to the HREC for ethical review.
