Osteoporosis Refracture Prevention Program

Our multidisciplinary team includes a Rheumatologist, Fracture Liaison Coordinator, Dietitian, Physiotherapist and Clinical Psychologist.
We also perform Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) which is the gold standard for the diagnosis of osteoporosis. This safe and painless technique is often referred to as bone densitometry.
Bone Mineral Density (BMD) DXA Scans

All Medicare card-holders who are eligible for a bone density scan will be bulk-billed.
Your referring doctor should be able to inform you if you fulfil Medicare criteria for a scan. We will check your eligibility at your appointment.
