What to expect at your appointment

When you arrive for your appointment you will be asked to provide your Centrelink Concession Card and complete a medical history form.  You will normally have an x-ray of your teeth carried out in the radiology department before meeting your dentist.

The dentist will talk to you and discuss reasons for your appointment and whether you have any dental problems or concerns about your appointment and find out some more information about you and your health.

The dentist will then examine your mouth and teeth and discuss with you the condition of your teeth and gums and suggest a treatment plan.  They may need to order further x-rays or blood tests.

The dentist may need to discuss this treatment plan with your referring doctor or other specialists that are involved in your care before finalising it and scheduling an appointment for treatment.

Who will I meet at my appointment?

You will meet our receptionist, your dentist, and dental assistant.
