Concord Dermatology is one of the first clinical dermatology units in Australia. For a long time it had been an important dermatology service for Repatriation patients. Subsequently the department began to look after inpatients and outpatients who had skin problems, whether they were Repatriation patients or not. This is still the situation today although we have been increasingly servicing older dermatology patients with complex medical problems.
The clinical demand is certainly rising.
