About Us
Concord Hospital's Emergency Department is a "Level 5" Emergency Department (ED). We see a mixture of both adult and paediatric patients. Currently we have an average of one hundred presentations per day which is 35,500 patients every year. There is a wide variety of patients who are seen through ED. We see everything from the minor problem to the critically unwell patient requiring resuscitation. On average 30% of patients are admitted and the remainder are discharged.
