About the Department

The urology department at RPA is one of Australia's oldest specialty services, providing urological services to patients across NSW, specialising in urological oncology, minimally invasive urological surgery, kidney stone disease, reconstructive urology and general urology.
The department has six surgical consultants providing care to more than 2,000 patients in hospital and over 1500 patients in the ambulatory care setting annually.
The RPA urology department is a leading department in live donor kidney transplantations in collaboration with transplantation team and in open node dissection for testicular Cancer. They are an integral part of the pelvic exenteration and peritonectomy service at RPA and leading in research based Robotic-assisted surgery program.
