About the Department

The gynae-oncology department provide care for women with all types and stages of gynaecological cancers. Based at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, the five surgeons provide treatment for ovarian, cervical, uterine and vaginal cases. The team also provide surgical support to other departments undertaking complex surgical cases including the colorectal department at RPA with pelvic exenteration and peritonectomy patients.
